One thing I have come to love after working in retail for so long is the art of styling a tonal outfit. In the past, it was all about contrast, patterns, textures, etc. But there is something incredibly refined and luxe when you use the same color in different tones for every piece. One of the prettiest ways to embrace this style is to go for a white, cream, and grey pallete.
This white Sanctuary vest is seriously the best travel companion! I originally bought it for our travels to S.E. Asia last year (it was WAY too hot to layer, but I admired my own effort.) I've started to embrace the bright white layer this summer over my tank dresses and jean shorts with tees. +++ Major bonus points for giving me pockets when I wouldn't normally have any +++
And let's talk about Jenny Bird. If you are over the whole lacquered geometric statement necklace thing like I am, you HAVE to check out her stuff. We sell it at the boutique and I swear every piece magically makes you cooler. This necklace is called the Riri Collar in gold. I secretly love that it brings back memories of 90's hip-hop and Mr. T but that it also gives me a little confidence boost that I might be just as B.A. as bad gal Riri, herself.
