When temperatures reach beyond 90 degrees, the absolute best life decision is a romper. They're just one piece, typically loose fitting, and if you need to go to the bathroom you get the chance to take it off and air out! Don't pretend like you don't do that too...
This Bella Dahl piece is something I will be wearing in my weekly rotation for the rest of the summer. Made in their amazing Tencel fabrication, it is dreamy to the touch and super comfy to wear all day. On my customers, I have styled this piece with a lace back bandeau, lace back bralettes, or just nip covers - which are always fun ;)
It's hard for me to believe that this is actually the first time I have taken a walk through Humboldt Park. When I first moved to Chicago, I wouldn't have been caught dead there (pun intended.) But, after living in the area for a couple of years, you understand that the stories they tell you about all of the violence doesn't solely define the park. This day, there was a huge bingo festival happening in one corner, a church service in another, and countless families walking around. I feel like I reclaimed a little part of my city back from the fear that owned it.
By the way, I have to mention how amazing these sandals are. An old roommate of mine introduced me to the brand and I admired hers so much I had to buy a pair for myself. They are surprisingly easy to walk in all day and have lasted me two summers and counting. Definitely a good buy.
